Hi there
Don't forget to leave a comment so that you can be in the draw to win a free pass to join Stampin Fun and Friends - see my earlier post.
This birthday card is for one of the ladies at work whose birthday is on Saturday. I altered my original design a bit once I started creating - the original colours I'd chosen just weren't working for me. It's called a 'Joy Fold' card and has lots of options for design. The front piece of cardstock opens out and gives room for more stamping or colour.
For the background I've used the Very Vintage roller. When I first bought my roller I was really disappointed with the results but now that I have the ruler I love using it. I also found out it is better to use the roller standing up than trying to do it sitting down.
For my envelope I've used two different pieces of double sided paper to get the colour combination I wanted. It's a great way of using up the small offcuts.
Supplies:
Stamps - Very Vintage Roller, So Happy For You
Cardstock - Certainly Celery, Orchid Opulence, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry
Ink - Certainly Celery, Rich Razzleberry
DSP - Cottage Wall
Other - Big Shot, Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die, Scallop Envelope Die, Scallop Trim Corner Punch
Enjoy the rest of your day.
