Happy Birthday to Me & Phil!
Well by the time you read this we will be in New Plymouth having a birthday holiday. As we share the same day - how cool is that! - every second year we go away for a short break to celebrate OUR birthday. I haven't been to New Plymouth since 1975 so thought it was about time I went back. I'll try and take some photos while we are away and post them next week.
I had to be sneaky in getting Phil's card made without him seeing it. As we share the same hobbies room I had to wait until he went out to do some photography so I could have the room to myself!
I always struggle making masculine cards so here is what I made for him. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.
I cut the large star out of Daffodil Delight and then added Crystal Effects to give it a nice glossy finish. I had tried to photograph the inside of the card but it wouldn't stand up so I gave up! I had stamped the 'stars' for the set in Tangerine Tango.
Stamps - Starring You
Cardstock - Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White
DSP - Haiku (retired)
Ink - Tangerine Tango
Other - Daffodil Delight Ribbon, Small Star Punch, Large Star Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, 1 1/2" Circle Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Crystal Effects, Dimensionals
Well this will be me until we get home on Sunday. Hope you have a great weekend.
