Try Stampin on Tuesday #17

Hi there

The weather here in Auckland yesterday was wet & windy - a great day to spend inside & create.  I will show you later what I created.  If you haven't joined up to Stampin Fun and Friends it's not too late.  Check out CherylAnn's blog for more details.  The projects posted so far are fantastic.  (that's what I was creating yesterday)

Here is this weeks TST challenge:

This was a great layout as I needed to get a card made for my BIL in Australia.  The only stamping on this card is the greeting inside.  My BIL is a chef so I used my Build A Cupcake punch to create a cake.

I thought the words for this were perfect.  I've used Soft Suede Polka Dot ribbon but turned it over to give the solid colour.  I put the base of the cupcake through the crimper to give the crinkled effect.

If you haven't had a go at one of the challenges click here and have a go - you'll get hooked.  They are a great way to build up you supply of cards, meet new friends and see what other people create.

Supplies:
Stamp - A Word for You
Cardstock - Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Very Vanilla, Baja Breeze, Perfect Plum
Ink - Early Espresso
Punch - Build A Cupcake
Other - Soft Suede Polka Dot Ribbon, Dimensionals, Crimper

Well I'd better sign off and get ready for Church.  Have a great weekend.

Catch you later.

Paula
