ESAD Blog Hop - All Ye Faithful

Hi there

Welcome to the ESAD Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop.  You may have arrived from Libby's blog or just joined my page.  I've chosen to showcase my favourite stamp set from the Holiday catalogue - All Ye Faithful.  First up is a card using Vellum Card Stock and my favourite technique - heat embossing.

I then stepped it up for a team swap last month by colouring the images in.  (this was also one of our cards from card class).

I've coloured it from behind using ink and blender pens.  And here's the inside - this image was stamped using the new Archival Basic Black ink.

Supplies:
Stamp set - All Ye Faithful
Card Stock - Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Vellum Card Stock
Ink - Basic Black, Tip Top Taupe, Hello Honey, Cajun Craze, Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Elegant Eggplant
Other - Black and Gold Embossing Powder, PL Cards and Labels Framelits, Blender Pens

My next card also has two variations - plain or stained glass window look.  This second card was for our wider team swap yesterday.  By the time I'd sponged 25 of these my arm was sore!

I've gone with non-traditional colours for this one - Island Indigo, Rose Red and Pear Pizzaz

I sponged the top section with Soft Sky then went over the top with Island Indigo and finally added Pear Pizzazz to the remaining section.

The panel measures 11.5cm x 7.5cm with the mat 12cm x 8cm for the top card and then 10.5cm x 7cm - cut into three (each being 3.5cm wide).  The mat for this one is 11cm x 7.5cm.

Supplies:
Stamp Set - All Ye Faithful
Card Stock - Island Indigo, Rose Red, Whisper White
Ink - Basic Black, Soft Sky, Island Indigo, Pear Pizzazz
Other - Sponges

I hope you've enjoyed your visit to my blog.  Do leave me a comment as I'd love to hear from you - which card is your favourite?

Now it's time to hop on over to Keryn's blog

  11. Thank you so much for the beautiful swap card Paula. While I love this set I don't have it myself, making your sample even more precious! I am not surprised your arm was sore, but so worth the effort ♥

  14. Wow Paula. I think your cards are fabulous. And yes, one of my favourite techniques is heat embossing. I think it makes a card look that bit more special. Doing on the vellum is lovely and then the stepped up one of colouring in is such a great idea too.
